Care for All Ages

The Spine & Scoliosis Clinic sees patients of all ages and with a variety of needs. A few of the common problems treated here are child and adult scoliosis (curvature of the spine), neuropathy, kyphosis, headaches, migraine headaches, TMJ, neck pain, mid-back pain, lower back pain, and poor posture.

Chiropractic care comes in a variety of forms and techniques. Dr. Johnsen uses a highly specialized chiropractic technique called Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) in combination with ScoliBrace Protocols and SEAS (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis). This technique is intended to restore the normal alignment of the spine and to correct structural problems of the nervous system.

"We start with an analysis of your posture, using X-rays to confirm any strengths or weaknesses of your spinal structure," explains Dr. Johnsen. "The treatment that follows is gentle and careful. No sharp movements or twisting, no painful adjustments, just gradual results, and a higher quality of life. Think of it as orthodontics for your spine."

The E.A.T. Protocol

What Makes Our Care Work

Every visit follows our E.A.T. protocol, a proven combination that helps your spine hold its correction longer than adjustments alone.

  • Exercise on vibration and power plates to activate the muscles that support your spine.
  • Adjustment using precise impulse or drop-table techniques.
  • Traction that gently guides your spine toward its natural curve.
